All of our wigs are made with highest quality of Indian Remy hair. Remy hair is the complete hair strand and has not been weakened by stripping. Remy hair is created by careful processing which leaves the cuticle in place. The result is stronger, superior hair. Although the hair has undergone some processing (such as cleaning, curly perming or dyeing), and should also be treated gently, it still reigns supreme in quality. Remy hair is often referred to as "cuticle hair" because the cuticle is left intact. Hair that is stripped of the cuticle is often chemically treated to give the hair an artificial softness and shine, which wears down over time, causing tangling and a poor appearance. Remy hair does not have this problem and is the best quality hair you can purchase.

OUR MEDICAL CRANIAL PROSTHESIS

A Medical Cranial Hair Prosthesis is a unit (wig) or a hairpiece that has been designed to fit the needs of women who have lost their hair due to Alopecia Areata, alopecia totalis, alopecia universalis, chemotherapy treatments, or other medically related hair loss conditions.

These units are made of the same excellent high quality Remy hair and/or high quality synthetic fibers which provide comfortable caps, high quality durable human hair, and special materials to achieve a secure fit. Many of these products will be extremely light weight and have the same natural appearance as our other units.

The cost of these specific cranial hair prosthesis units can usually reimbursed from insurance companies once prove is established that hair is lost due to medical conditions.
